Our Story – Big Square

Founded in 2012, Big Square is a proudly Kenyan restaurant and one of the top casual dining restaurants. Our first branch opened at Karen Square, and since then we’ve grown to 11 outlets across Nairobi, Eldoret and Mombasa, bringing great food, vibes, and experiences closer to you.

In 2015, we launched Pizza Mojo, introducing a “create your own” pizza concept perfect for sharing with friends and family. By 2016, Pizza Mojo merged into Big Square, creating a unified brand identity with a relaxed ambience ideal for casual outings, family and group dining.

Today, Big Square is all about togetherness, flavor, and fun—a place where the Nouveau African can enjoy the best ribs, burgers, and a variety of chicken, salad, and healthy meals, alongside refreshing shakes, cocktails and sharing platters perfect for groups. Our menu has something for everyone—families, friends, or anyone looking for a vibrant dining experience.
